We recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance. For 'Tours', please use our Contact Form. We will then get back to you with more information and tour times (Please remember to check you 'junk email' folder for a reply). Once a booking is confirmed we will send you an email which contains a link to make secure credit/debit card payment.
For 'Experiences' (Farm tours, Archery, Mustering, and pub lunch), please book online here.
How many people do you take per group?
Our normal tours are capped at 8-10 people; however, we can also cater for bigger groups. We also offer private tours.
What time are your rides?
Our ride times vary daily. Please contact us to request a ride schedule.
Do we need to have any riding experience?
No experience is necessary, however we will need to know your Age, height, weight, and experience level to pair you with the right horse. Please use the following as a guide:
1) Beginner: Never ridden a horse before.
2) Novice: Have ridden a horse at a beginner level.
3) Intermediate: Comfortable at trot and canter. Can rise to the trot.
4) Experienced: Comfortable at all gates and with a more spirited horse.
Is there a minimum age?
The minimum age for our group tours is 8 years old, however kids under this age may still be able to ride on private tours. Please note that there is a minimum height of 125cm. Please contact us for more information.
Is there a maximum weight?
The maximum weight for beginners is 105kg, or 115kg for ‘level 4’ experienced riders. Please contact us for more information.
Are you open every day? What time are your tours?
We’re open 7 days a week in summer and 6 days a week through winter (closed Sundays). Our ride times vary daily, please refer to our monthly schedules for more information and standard ride times.
How much deposit is required to make a booking? Do you offer refunds?
Full payment is required to confirm a booking. No refund will be given for cancellations within 14 days your ride.
Do we need travel insurance to ride?
We recommend that you take out personal travel insurance (that includes horse riding) or have private health insurance.
Do you ride in the rain?
All tours go ahead unless deemed unsafe by our staff. Generally, we’ll ride in light rain but if the wind is too strong or there’s lightning, we might choose to postpone your tour.
What time should we arrive?
Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled time. When you arrive, please make your way to the front porch of the ranch and wait here for staff direction. Do not approach the horses. If coming from out of town, please allow adequate travel time. We are usually unable to wait if you miss your scheduled departure time.
PLEASE ALSO NOTE WE ARE ON NEW SOUTH WALES TIME, SO IF YOU'RE COMING FROM QUEENSLAND YOU NEED TO BE AWARE OF THE TIME DIFFERENCE DURING DAYLIGHT SAVING PERIOD.
What should we bring?
Please wear long pants and enclosed shoes. We also recommend bringing sun cream (if it’s hot!) and a rain jacket (if it looks like it might be wet!). We supply helmets (note Helmets are compulsory). We also have some riding boots available but please bring enclosed flat shoes.
